Throughout her long and legendary career as an opera star, Montserrat Caball (1933-2018) maintained an equally active career on the concert stage. In recital, the Spanish soprano held her audiences spellbound with her sublime singing and warmth of spirit. This 1983 performance Caball’s typical blend of arie antiche, opera rarities, and classical art songs. She is joined by her long-time accompanist Miguel Zanetti.
